SITE MOVED

This blog is shifted to new location. Please visit the updated site at Medical Resource Links

Learn to use the site

The site now is on a blogger platform retaining its domain. The new blog format brings lot of big changes to the site structure. So you need to read this to understand how the site navigation works.
Advantages of New Design:
1. Latest resources are added to the top of the list so on returns it is easy to find the newest resources without digging to the depth.
2. Adding new categories is as simple as to add a new tag. Earlier I had to edit all the pages in the website manually to add the new category. It was time consuming and created lot of inconsistencies among web pages
Posting resources
New resources will be added as a new post with appropriate category tag. As every resource will be a blog post the heading cannot serve as a link to the external site. So the exit link is added to the end of the post. Medical subjects will be listed on the side bar clicking on which will show you all the posts marked with the same label.
Eg: If you click on 'Anatomy', you will be shown all the resources in category anatomy with the newest in top. If number of resources are larger than 10 you might need to click on show older posts to see all the resources.
Comments
For commenting  you need either a email ID or an openID. Comments will serve as user reviews to the resources. No other comments will be allowed.
Feeds
Feeds will serve as the update notifier for the site. User need to subscribe to the feed to access this facility.
